‘A brief repose on a tranquil day…’

I’ve always been fascinated with the whimsical, otherworldly beings that inhabited the worlds of my favourite fairytales. Those memories and stories have been a constant inspiration throughout my work and this painting is no exception.

Here I wanted to capture a fleeting, curious moment with one of these ethereal faes, as she cools down under a rainbow waterfall.
